Highlights:
If you love music, dance and art, and want to express yourself through a medium that will unleash your creativity – Hip Hop is for you.
Hip Hop is a cultural movement that brings people together to express themselves and have fun. It comprises various artistic mediums, better known as “elements”, which include DJing, MCing (Rap), B-boying (Breakdancing) and Graffiti art. As the artform has developed, it has included additional “extended elements” like Beatboxing and Hip Hop fashion.
Hip Hop has greatly influenced the entertainment industry through its creative contributions to music, dance, art, poetry and fashion; and many of todays succesful mainstream artists owe their success to the ground-breaking work of the early pioneers of Hop Hop.
E-TracX presents Hip Hop culture to youth in its most positive form through creative workshops designed to develop their creative thinking and expression.
In the near future, we also plan to organise inter-school competitions, Hip Hop related events for youth and an annual Singapore Youth Hip Hop Festival.
So, come and be a part of the Hip Hop community!
